The Woolpack, in the heart of historic Banstead, is a community local that can trace its roots back to the 18th century. In the 21st century it remains a traditional village pub where you are guaranteed a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.
The Woolpack is renowned for its varied menu of freshly cooked food and also for serving superb real ales and lagers from Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewer.
There is also an extensive wine list and all these elements ensure that people want to come back time and time again.
The pub hosts a popular quiz every Monday from 8pm (advance booking is highly recommended) while there is a live jazz afternoon on the last Tuesday of every month, from 2.30-4.30pm.
We can host your private events, including wakes, in our snug or bar area.
